Crenshaw Creative Office
Los Angeles, California
From a shaded central courtyard to rooftop views, SALT designed spaces for daily use, informal connection, and community gathering within the realm of creative office.
Evoking a public plaza, this outdoor setting provides a welcoming, dynamic backdrop for tenants and visitors alike.
A Layered Streetscape
At the corner of Crenshaw Boulevard, layered streetscape planting and generous sidewalks create a welcoming pedestrian experience for the Crenshaw Creative office project, a collaboration with Perkins&Will Architecture.
At the heart of the street frontage is a 5,000-square-foot central courtyard anchored by a signature Jacaranda tree. A canopy of dappled trees, complemented by raised planters, creates an inviting outdoor setting where visitors and tenants can gather, connect, and transition naturally to the building's main lobby.
A Flexible Outdoor Space
The rooftop features a flexible outdoor amenity deck designed for both daily respite and social events. Generous shade, raised planters, and integrated deep benches provide comfortable spaces for gathering, while expansive 360-degree views of the city enhance the experience.
