SKID ROW HOUSING TRUST

SALT was asked by the Skid Row Housing Trust to work with the residents of their Las Americas SRO to develop a plan for their dilapidated courtyard.

We ran three workshops with the residents, exploring a range of desires for the space using custom developed materials for the charrettes. Among the new improvements were a series of raised vegetable gardens. Through the help of UrBin Garden Network, they are yielding high quality fresh food for the residents.
